Consultation Services
We offer personalized consultation services both in person and virtually, designed to address each family’s unique needs. Our consultations cover a broad range of topics to ensure that you receive the right support and guidance every step of the way.
Our consultation services include:
Initial Consultation – To assess your family’s and child’s specific needs and determine the best course of action moving forward.
Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)/Individualized Education Plan (IEP)/504 Plan Consultation – To help you understand, navigate, and break down the plans created by Birth to Three agencies and school districts, ensuring your child’s needs are fully addressed.
Educational Advocacy Consultation – To assist you in preparing for important meetings with agencies and schools. This consultation will provide information on your parental rights, safeguards, and provide resources to help you effectively advocate for your child’s best interests.
Parent/Family Support Consultation– To help create a sense of community and connect you with other families facing similar experiences. We collaborate with various parent-led support groups for families with Deaf and Hard of Hearing children.
Program/Service Search Consultation – To assist in finding the right programs and services that align with your family’s specific needs, values, and goals, including those related to hearing loss and communication approaches.
Transition Planning Consultation – To provide guidance as your child transitions from Birth to Three services to school-age supports (moving from IDEA Part C to Part B), ensuring a smooth and supportive transition.
Family Planning Consultation- To provide a comprehensive support plan for your family and child based on in depth discussions, observations, and assessments.
… and much more! If you have something else in mind, just ask!
We offer a comprehensive range of assessments to help guide and support your family, including family needs assessments, child needs assessments, developmental milestone assessments, and language assessments.
Based on the results, we can work with you to develop a personalized service plan that includes targeted support and select services tailored to meet your child’s and family’s specific needs.
