This introductory course focuses on everyday vocabulary, basic grammar, fingerspelling, and conversational skills that are practical and meaningful for family life.

We offer online self-guided modules to support your learning throughout the course at an additional cost.

$125 per person (+ $25 per person for added modules)

Baby Basics Signs

Our Baby Basics Signs class is a 2 hour session offered once a month.

It is designed for parents and caregivers who want to introduce early communication through simple, effective signs. In this course, you'll learn essential signs to use with your baby during daily routines—such as mealtime, playtime, and bedtime—and understand what signs to use, how to teach them, and when to introduce them based on your child’s developmental stage.

Using sign language with your baby can support early cognitive and language development, help reduce communication-related frustration, and strengthen the bond between you and your child. Regardless of a signed, spoken, or bilingual approach, baby sign language offers a powerful tool to promote early expression and understanding—often before speech begins.

Emergency and Safety Signs

Our Emergency and Safety Signs class is a 2 hour session offered once a month.

This course will teach you essential signs and communication strategies to use in emergency situations when your child may not have access to hearing technology or when they are in environments where sound cues are not reliable.

With a focus on practical, real-world applications, this course will give families the confidence and skills to handle emergencies effectively, making sure that communication remains clear and your child stays safe—no matter the circumstances.
